With the designer’s love for crystals she wanted to create designs that are striking yet free spirited. Intertwined highly intricate details dusted with soft hues is what makes the brand stand out. Inspired by romanticism the label aims at embracing a woman’s femininity with meticulous detailing on timeless silhouettes. Contemporary, luxurious and punctuated with a hint of edginess, Shobika Bhandari is all about clever detailing of thread work, delicate embellishments, applique and cut-work techniques with layering, crystals, dreamy colours and fusion tailoring. We want to make products that aren’t season-governed, but clothes that are passed on as heirlooms.
